This is my first digital camera purchase. I didn’t want to go too high end or too low end. I loved the price of this one, it is really affordable, and its cute and compact. The pics are excellent.
If I had one problem with this camera is that it has virtually no memory! Takes half dozen pics and BAM you need a memory card if you want more. Oh well, its still an asweome camera and I’m really glad I bought it.
This is a remarkable camera. Love the features! Even though it was giving a lens error reading after it accidentally dropped, I was able to fix that problem and get it running smoothly again. The compact size works great for me and so far I am loving all the memories that this camera has been capturing for me
Easy to use camera. Takes great pictures, and really nice looking videos. Excluding DSLR cameras, this is by far the best digital camera I’ve used.
Had the camera for about 2 months and the pictures were pretty good. Not a lot of advanced features, but for the price, a good little camera. I always keep the camera in a case that I bought for it. Took it out one night and the entire LCD was cracked and you couldn’t see anything. Clearly something in my pocket pushed against it, but it wasn’t hit or dropped. If it breaks through a case from mild pressure, I can’t recommend this camera due to it’s construction. I called support and LCD is not covered under the year warranty. They can replace the LCD for $35 plus what I have to pay to ship it to them. Not sure that I want to spend $40+ to fix a cheaper camera that may have the exact same brittle LCD. It’s possible that I got a bad camera or something from the start, but I definitely would not buy again even at a cheaper price. At a minimum, if you do get the camera, make sure you get a sturdy case for it to protect the screen.
This is not a bad camera for the price. It’s pretty small, but not as small as the ELPH I had previous to this. I like the fact that it takes regular AA batteries, since they’re easy to come by. It goes through them pretty quickly, though, so I use rechargeables in it. What I DON’T like is how long the flash takes to recharge. There’s a significant delay between pictures if you have the flash on. At least 5 seconds or more. This is very irritating when you want to take duplicate pictures of the same pose. Overall, it’s a decent camera for the price, but I miss the quality of my old (and much more expensive) camera.
